Tawakkul isn’t about pretending you’re okay. It’s not about suppressing fear or forcing yourself to “stay positive.” It’s about showing up-messy, broken, overwhelmed-and saying: “Ya Allah, I trust You… even though I don’t understand.”
When Ibrahim (AS) was thrown into the fire, he didn’t know how Allah would save him. When Musa (AS) stood at the Red Sea with an army behind him, he didn’t know how Allah would make a way. They didn’t need to know. They just trusted. And Allah delivered.

Here’s the thing about tawakkul: It doesn’t mean you sit back and do nothing. It means you tie your camel, you do the work, you give it your ALL… …and then you say: “Ya Allah, I’ve done my part. The rest is Yours.”
But let’s be real. Tawakkul is hard. You plan. You prepare. You make du’a. Life still throws you curveballs. The job doesn’t come through. The business deal doesn’t go through. The plans you have made don’t work out. The healing doesn’t happen.
And you think: “Did I fail? Did Allah leave me?
Here’s what no one tells you:
Tawakkul doesn’t mean things will go the way you want. It means trusting that Allah’s plan is better even when it hurts.
Sometimes the delay is the mercy. Sometimes the hardship is the blessing.
Tawakkul is saying: “Ya Allah, I wanted this… but if it’s not good for me, I trust You’ll give me better.” It’s knowing that Allah sees what you can’t.
He knows what lies ahead. He knows what you’re capable of. He knows what your heart truly needs.

In the end Allah exposes people and their true intentions and it’s up to us to take a cue and do what we think is best for us mentally, spiritually and generally as a whole. Life is too short and you only live once. This world is filled with greedy, evil, selfish, deceitful, pathological liars & manipulative narcissists. May Almighty protect us from such devils disguised as “human beings”, Ameen. Usually such people get a taste of their medicine within this world if not then surely the next (eternal) world.

It might take a year or just a day, but what is destined for you will always reach you. No one can take what is yours and you can’t take what isn’t written for you. You can pray to make it better or more bearable.
Peace.
