What skills or lessons have you learned recently?
Recently, I’ve learned the skill of patience—especially with people. I’m learning not to overreact to situations, not to let overthinking take a toll on how I perceive things, and to accept people and situations as they are. Giving time and space instead of reacting emotionally has helped me respond more calmly and thoughtfully.
One important lesson I’ve learned is that blood relation doesn’t automatically mean family. True family is defined by good intentions, respect, and genuine care. Someone who is envious of you or your immediate family can never truly be a well-wisher, regardless of how closely they’re related. In such cases, the healthiest choice is to emotionally distance yourself—to let go and accept that not everyone deserves access to your life. Fake people and snakes no longer exist in my bubble, and their lives hold no significance to me. Often, such people just want to keep tabs on you, be nosy, and secretly compete with you. It’s up to you to decide what to tolerate and what to block out. Remember, literally no one has it perfect in life—you need to focus on doing you.
