Ten years from now, make sure you can say that you chose your life — you didn’t settle for it. But remember… ten years isn’t guaranteed. Tomorrow isn’t promised. Life is short, and passing quickly.
So do what your heart wants. Follow it — fully, unapologetically. Say no to anything that doesn’t align with who you are or your life. No one else needs to understand it. It just needs to be real to you. You’re not here to merely exist — you’re here to live. And if you’re lucky enough to be here in ten years, make sure it’s a life that feels like your own.
There’s no such thing as perfect — not in people, not in choices, not in paths. Everyone has flaws, cracks, and contradictions. The beauty lies in deciding which imperfections you’re willing to live with — in yourself and in others. That’s what being human is. You won’t be perfect either, but to someone out there, you might just be the best thing they’ve ever known. So never talk down to yourself. Move like the world does revolve around you — and then choose your people accordingly. Choose the ones who get it. Who support you. Who see you.
And even on your fragile days — don’t let negativity in. The world/people can be cruel, but their bitterness isn’t yours to carry. Protect your peace, guard your worth, and never let someone else’s darkness dim your light.
This one’s for everyone born in the ’90s — before tech took over. We’ve officially hit the serious age. To those still choosing their path — keep going. And to those who followed the script and settled for what the world chose for you — may you find peace, purpose, and pieces of yourself along the way. ✨💛🥂
