Best Heat Protectors/ Hair Serums

I hope you’re all doing well. So I absolutely love styling my hair be it curls, beachwaves or simply straight and sleek, in order to make sure my hair gets minimal damage I spend a lot on heat protectants and oils which protect the hair from high heat. And I also got a Dyson Airwrap so my hair can legit get “minimal” damage when styling. Here are some of my favourite products tried and tested;

Olaplex Bonding Oil: $30

A highly-concentrated, weightless reparative styling oil. It’s also highly recommended to someone who colored their hair. Some of the other benefits it claims to have are that it; repairs damaged and compromised hair, strengthens and protects hair structure lastly restores healthy appearance and texture. I personally used this 4-5 times so far and I prefer using it before and after I style my hair with my Dyson AirWrap.

Kerastase: Oléo-Relax Advanced Hair Oil $45

I absolutely love the scent of this serum and how amazing it makes my hair texture. Used 3 serums of Kerastase but this one takes the cake. This is my third bottle of this serum and sadly they don’t sell this one in my country now and I need to place an order online or ask someone to get it for me. This again acts like a really good heat protectant and leaving your hair super moisturised simultaneously. Out of the two serums mentioned here this one is more scented, I don’t know if it’s a good thing or not but this is my absolute favourite from the Kerastase range.

Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil $43

I discovered this product last year at Sephora Americana Glendale and this has been on my dresser ever since. I got 2 bottles, one mini/travel size and one full sized. This was pricey but this oil had a shelf life of 24 months once opened, so it’s worth the money. It’s enriched with 6 oils, meant for thicker hair to tame down the frizz and as well as to act as an excellent heat protector. I preferred using this particularly when curling my hair (since it takes a lot of heat to do it).

Lastly I’d like to add is that you need good organic oils on your hair too at least twice a week be it coconut, olive or almond oil. Nothing can beat organic hair care. Massaging oils can help relax your scalp and be good for your hair follicles as well as dried out strands while promoting growth.

Stay tuned for more!✨
